Jim has over 40 years of experience as a CPA. In 2020, Jim began the process of retiring. He started his career in the tax department of an International CPA firm in Philadelphia, he transitioned to a Regional CPA firm for a few years prior to starting the present firm in 1981.

Cynthia R. Bergvall, CPA
Cindy provides strategic consulting, audit, and accounting services to businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities. She enjoys employing financial modeling and business planning to help her clients achieve their strategic goals.
Cindy also has an active role with the firm’s affiliate company the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management. Through facilitated discussion and financial analysis Cindy partners with nonprofit organizations to increase their capacity and improve sustainability. She also provides management and Board member training through the Center. In addition to speaking for the Center, Cindy presents locally and nationally for a number of groups including PANO, the PICPA, and a number of community foundations and governmental organizations.
A frequently requested speaker, she has spoken to nonprofit audiences on Assessing Your Financial Health, Auditing Procedures, Development Issues for Nonprofits, Tax Issues for Nonprofits, Succession Planning, and Strategic Planning. Groups she has presented for include the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO), the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs, the North Penn Nonprofit Academy, and the firm’s Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management. Cindy has served on a number of Boards, in various capacities including board chair. She is Adjunct Faculty for Cairn University’s Nonprofit Leadership graduate program.

Jennifer is a Partner in our Audit and Accounting Services practice having joined the firm in 1996. Kate is a Partner and serves clients in both our Audit and Accounting Services and our Business and Individual Tax groups. She joined the firm in 1996. Kate has provided auditing, accounting and advisory services to a wide variety of insurance entities, including captives and commercial insurers. She has worked with more than 100 of the firm’s not-for-profit clients. As a member of the Tax Group, Kate provides tax preparation, research and planning for corporate and individual clients. In addition, she has contributed to AICPA publications including Audit Guides, Technical Practice Aids, and Trends in Financial Statement Disclosures.

Stasia is a Partner in our Nonprofit and Municipal practice having joined the firm in 2004. With extensive experience in public accounting, Stasia works with corporate, nonprofit, and municipal clients. Her responsibilities in the audit and accounting group include the coordination of the annual audit, financial statement preparation, and consultation on accounting and reporting matters. Stasia was named Partner in July 2017.
Prior to joining our firm, Stasia worked with an International CPA firm where she gained experience with corporate, not-for-profit, and municipal clients as well as audits of Employee Benefit Plans.
Stasia maintains ties professionally and personally to the community through participation in numerous organizations. When Stasia enjoys spending quality time with her three daughters and husband.

Elizabeth Vibber, MS
Liz is a Partner for the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management, as well as the Marketing Director for Bee, Bergvall & Co. She joined the firm in 1999.
Liz has over 30 years of experience providing strategic consultation to both the public and private sectors. She currently directs the marketing and management consulting services for clients of Bee, Bergvall & Co., Certified Public Accountants as well as the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management. Projects Liz has worked on include the development of business and strategic plans, governance consulting, mergers and collaborations, needs assessments, survey design as well as executive searches. She leads many of the Catalyst Center trainings on topics including, but not limited to board governance, strategic planning, and fundraising. She has earned a Master of Science in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Kutztown University. Liz has served on a number of Boards of Directors and has held the positions of board chair, vice-chair, as well as chair of strategic planning and governance committees.

Angie Pounders, CPA
Angie has built and strengthened client relationships for over 20 years. Prior to joining Bee, Bergvall & Co., she managed her own firm, managing attestation engagements from planning phase to report issuance. Her experience spans the not-for-profit and government sectors, with an in-depth understanding of GAAP and GAAS standards.
Angie lives with her family in Hodges, AL and works remotely with Bee, Bergvall & Co.

Brett Griffith, MBA
Brett has joined Bee, Bergvall & Co. as a strategic consultant in the Catalyst Center for Business Growth. Brett has extensive experience both as a business consultant and executive. His Business Process Automation (BPA) experience spans over thirty years and has worked on some of the most mission-critical data and document management projects in the world. He started his career with Alpha Systems and developed expertise in Healthcare Content Management, E-Discovery, and Analytics. He has subsequently sold three of those divisions and is now focused on consulting. Brett has a strong background in growing revenues, executing business plans, and maximizing valuations at exit.
- Since the sale of the business, Brett has served as a strategy advisor at DataBank IMX, Kyocera and several other organizations. He has also served as an adjunct marketing professor at Cairn University.
- Brett specializes in helping business owners maximize business performance, grow stronger cultures and assist in the business exiting/transition process.

Colleen McLaughlin
Colleen is an experienced tax preparer. She works closely with her clients to understand their unique needs so she may assist in developing tax plans for the future. She has a particular expertise calculating the sale of personal and rental properties. Colleen joined the firm in 2021, bringing over five years of experience with individual and corporate taxes.

Cindy began working in public accounting in 1987. She started with the firm of Burton & Browse as a co-op, working while she earned her accounting degrees. She is now part of the Business and Individual Tax groups at Bee, Bergvall & Co. Cindy has more than 20 years experience in all aspects of tax, accounting, and audit services for individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations. She enjoys working with clients in a variety of industries including retail, construction, utility, service, and manufacturing.

Chris has over 52 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant, starting his career in 1964 with a national accounting firm. In 1971 he went to work for Pennsylvania Hospital as Assistant Controller and later as Controller. In 1978 he started his own CPA firm moving it to Doylestown later that year. In 2018 the firm of J. Christopher Nurney, LTD merged with Bee, Bergvall & Co.

Kenneth R. Cronlund, CPA ~ Retired
Ken retired from Bee, Bergvall & Co. in 2020.
Before his retirement, Ken specialized in accounting, tax return preparation and consulting for small businesses and individuals. He also provided business valuation and litigation support to the firm. Prior to the merger with Bee, Bergvall & Co., Ken served as Managing Partner of Burton & Browse LLP. He joined Burton & Browse in August of 1964. He previously served as Chief Accountant for Traveler’s Express Co., Philadelphia from 1959-1964.

Kevin Jensen, CPA
Kevin has over 25 years of professional experience. He joined the team at Bee, Bergvall & Co. following the merger with Burton & Browse. He provides diverse accounting and consulting services to individual, corporate, fiduciary, not-for-profit and governmental clients. Areas of expertise include audits of homeowners’ associations and small business start-ups and dissolutions. Kevin provides QuickBooks installation, set-up, and consultation.
Kevin is an accomplished CPA and has recently published the article, ‘Understanding Private Operating Foundations’, in the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management’s newsletter.
Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time he is an instructor at Kokoro Kai Martial Arts in Ambler, PA and currently holds a Rank of 1st Dan or Shodan, Isshinryu Karate.

Laura J. Taylor
Laura is active in the firm’s general practice. She works primarily with tax clients, providing tax, payroll, bookkeeping and QuickBooks support through the Entrepreneurial Business Services division. Prior to the merger with Bee, Bergvall & Co., Laura was with Burton & Browse for more than 14 years.
Laura is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides consulting support to many of our clients. She also provides QuickBooks Tips on Bee Bergvall and Company’s social media pages.
Laura is a member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of Lawndale Baptist Church since 2008 and a Deaconess at Lawndale Baptist Church. She assists with child care for Single Moms Ministry at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia and is a member of Christian Business Women’s Connection.

Linda Bontempi, CPA
Linda began her accounting career as a taxation intern at Burton & Browse in 2012 while completing her accounting courses and studying for the CPA exam. She joined Bee Bergvall as a full-time associate in 2014.
She works in the firm’s general practice area in all areas of tax, audit, and accounting, but her primary focus is on individual and corporate taxation. In addition to taxation, she works on corporate and not-for-profit audits, reviews, and financial statement preparation services. She also has experience with payroll tax preparation services.
Linda’s prior experience was as a Senior Design Engineer, designing military communications products and firmware at a military contracting company.
Linda is a part of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In her spare time, she enjoys photography Linda and spent 12 years as a volunteer with a local ballet company, as company photographer, wardrobe staff, and costume run-crew, both in the dressing room and quick change area.

Michele Klach-Johnson, CPA, MS
With Michele’s diversified experience in finance and accounting within various service industries, she brings accounting, auditing, and tax compliance expertise to privately-held businesses and nonprofit organizations. She works with companies in a diverse range of industries including manufacturing, and construction, offering assistance when clients face significant decisions, such as refinancing, expanding, or buy-sell agreements. Michele also provides consulting, tax planning, and tax compliance for individuals.
Michele is active in her church and the community. She has done volunteer speaking engagements and classes for Junior Achievement and the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
Prior to joining Bee, Bergvall & Co. in 2014, Michele worked with two large, regional accounting firms in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

Trish works with our not-for-profit and municipal clients, joining the firm in 2007. Trish lives in the Boston area and works remotely with our clients. Her responsibilities in the audit and accounting group include the management and coordination of the annual audit, financial statement preparation, and consultation on accounting and reporting matters as well as extensive experience in preparing annual information returns.
Previously Trish worked as a Manager of Securitization Accounting and Investor Reporting for 6 years at Bank of America. She has 6 years of experience in Internal Audit working in both the non-profit and banking fields.

Randall Yardumian, EA
Randall has experience in finance emphasizing financial reporting, legal consolidation, and consolidation systems. Although the bulk of his experience is in the private sector, Randall also has experience working with nonprofit organizations. Randall is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service. Only Enrolled Agents are required to demonstrate to the Internal Revenue Service their competence in matters of taxation.
Prior to joining our firm, Randall worked for 15 years in consolidations/systems for a major pharmaceutical company. In this role, he was a liaison with international subsidiaries as well as the corporate tax department. He also worked as a controller for a local firm

Sherri brings 25 years of experience in public accounting, working primarily with our not-for-profit. She joined the firm in 2022. Prior to joining our firm, Sherri worked for many years with a local firm. Her experience includes non-profit auditing as well as work in the private sector. She serves on the board of Sisters U and enjoys reading, traveling, watching movies and spending time with her family and dogs. She has a special fondness for individuals with disabilities like her son Tyler, and this has led to her continued interest in non-profit entities and their missions. Sherri resides in Harleysville with her husband and two sons.

Sheryl also has experience as a Peer reviewer, conducting engagement reviews under the AICPA Peer Review Program for firms that perform services under Statements on Standards for Accounting and Review Services (SSARS) and/or certain services under the Statements on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAEs).
