Cynthia R. Bergvall, CPA, CGMA
Cindy provides strategic consulting, audit, and accounting services to businesses, nonprofits, and municipalities. She enjoys employing financial modeling and business planning to help her clients achieve their strategic goals.
Cindy also has an active role with the firm’s affiliate company the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management. Through facilitated discussion and financial analysis Cindy partners with nonprofit organizations to increase their capacity and improve sustainability. She also provides management and Board member training through the Center. In addition to speaking for the Center, Cindy presents locally and nationally for a number of groups including PANO, the PICPA, and a number of community foundations and governmental organizations.
Cindy is an adjunct faculty member with Cairn University’s Masters in Nonprofit Leadership program.

Jennifer J. McHugh, CPA
Jennifer started with the firm in 1996 as a college intern. Upon graduation, Jennifer became a staff accountant with the firm and has worked closely with our nonprofit and municipal clients. She has been substantially involved in all aspects of accounting, auditing and taxation. Her responsibilities in the audit and accounting group include the coordination of the annual audit, financial statement preparation, and consultation on accounting and reporting matters. Jennifer was named Director in January 2011.
Jennifer has several professional and community affiliations which include: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA), and Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) – Special Review Committee. Kathleen (Kate) Karatas, CPA
Kate is a Director and serves clients in both our Audit and Accounting Services and our Business and Individual Tax groups. She joined the firm in 1996. Kate has provided auditing, accounting and advisory services to a wide variety of insurance entities, including captives and commercial insurers. She has worked with more than 100 of the firm’s not-for-profit clients. As a member of the Tax Group, Kate provides tax preparation, research and planning for corporate and individual clients. In addition, she has contributed to AICPA publications including Audit Guides, Technical Practice Aids, and Trends in Financial Statement Disclosures.

Anastasia K. Devlin, CPA
Stasia is a Director in our Nonprofit and Municipal practice having joined the firm in 2004. With extensive experience in public accounting, Stasia works with corporate, nonprofit, and municipal clients Her responsibilities in the audit and accounting group include the coordination of the annual audit, financial statement preparation, and consultation on accounting and reporting matters. Stasia was named Director in July 2017.
Prior to joining our firm, Stasia worked for nine years with an International CPA firm where she gained experience with corporate, not-for-profit and municipal clients as well as audits of Employee Benefit plans.
Stasia maintains ties professionally and personally to the community through participation in numerous organizations. When Stasia enjoys spending quality time with her three daughters and husband.

Elizabeth Vibber, MS
Liz is the marketing director for Bee, Bergvall & Co. as well as a Strategic Consultant for the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management. She joined the firm in 1999.
As marketing director, Liz is responsible for both the internal and external marketing for the firm. She gained valuable professional marketing experience working for the University of Pennsylvania and the law firm of Montgomery, McCracken, Walker & Rhodes.

Courtney is a staff accountant in our Nonprofit and Municipal departments. She joined the firm in 2012.
Prior to joining Bee, Bergvall & Co., Courtney acquired over five years of combined experience in the nonprofit sector. Most recently, she worked as a staff accountant for an area health system where she was assigned three of the system’s entities. Her responsibilities in that role ran the spectrum of financial statement preparation and analysis. Furthering Courtney’s nonprofit experience is her past work as a telecommuncations manager at a large university.

Cynthia L. Wharton, CPA
Cindy began working in public accounting in 1987. She started with the firm of Burton & Browse as a co-op, working while she earned her accounting degrees. She is now part of the Business and Individual Tax groups at Bee, Bergvall & Co. Cindy has more than 20 years experience in all aspects of tax, accounting, and audit services for individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations. She enjoys working with clients in a variety of industries including retail, construction, utility, service, and manufacturing.
In addition to being an accomplished CPA, she also maintains strong ties to the community through the following affiliations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants and as Treasurer and Director of the Riverside Symphonia, a not for profit organization.

Denise A. Neason, CPA
Denise is a Tax Manager in our Business and Individual practice joining our firm in 2002. She has extensive experience in accounting for small businesses , reviews for medium-sized businesses (especially privately-owned businesses) and non-profits, business consulting, tax planning and tax compliance for businesses and individuals. She brings vast experience working with clients in a number of distinctive industries. She prides herself on getting to know her clients and helping them achieve their goals.
Prior to joining our firm, Denise worked for three years for two local accounting firms where she gained experience with individual and corporate taxation.
Denise values community building and created quite a repertoire of professional and personal affiliations throughout her community. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, board member of the Greater Horsham Chamber of Commerce and former board member for the Friends of Horsham Library. Denise is Co-captain of team Mis-Bee-Havin and cycles in the annual Bike MS: City to Shore Ride and finally a member of Suburban Cyclists Unlimited. She contributed to the initial planning of the 2016 Honor Ride Philadelphia, and is a student at East Montgomery Martial Arts & Training Center.
In her spare time, Denise enjoys cycling and golfing, she is a member of St. Catherine of Siena in Horsham.

Grace is part of the general firm practice. She has been with the firm since 2007. Grace has been substantially involved in all aspects of accounting, auditing and taxation, with an emphasis on finance.
Prior to joining our firm, Grace worked for 3 years with one of the Big Four accounting firms and an additional 4 years in a large insurance company in the accounting/international accounting department.

J. Christopher Nurney, CPA
Chris has over 52 years experience as a Certified Public Accountant, starting his career in 1964 with a national accounting firm. In 1971 he went to work for Pennsylvania Hospital as Assistant Controller and later as Controller. In 1978 he started his own CPA firm moving it to Doylestown later that year. In 2018 the firm of J. Christopher Nurney, LTD merged with Bee, Bergvall & Co.

Jackie is a Senior Accountant primarily working in our tax practice. She brings to the firm 24 years of experience in all aspects of tax. In particular, Jackie is versed in multi-tax issues as well as international filings. She previously managed the accounting operations for an international industrial company. Jackie worked with J. Christopher Nurney, LTD for seven years before the two firms merged.

Kenneth R. Cronlund, CPA
Ken specializes in accounting, tax return preparation and consulting for small businesses and individuals. He also provides business valuation and litigation support to the firm. Prior to the merger with Bee, Bergvall & Co., Ken served as Managing Partner of Burton & Browse LLP. He joined Burton & Browse in August of 1964. He previously served as Chief Accountant for Traveler’s Express Co., Philadelphia from 1959-1964.
Ken has held numerous titles and ties to the community some of which include: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants,
Treasurer to the Ivyland New Church. Since 1964, he has represented the firm to the to Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce , Newtown Business Association he is also a member of Conestoga Rod and Gun Club.
On top of his responsibility as tax preparer Ken has held a Pennsylvania Insurance License for Life, Health and Fixed Annuities since 2006. He is a managing member of Kenneth R. Cronlund Financial Services, LLC a company focused on Retirement Income Planning.
In his spare time, Ken enjoys riding his motorcycle, hiking and kayaking.

Kevin Jensen, CPA
Kevin has over 20 years of professional experience. He joined the team at Bee, Bergvall & Co. following the merger with Burton & Browse. He provides diverse accounting and consulting services to individual, corporate, fiduciary, not-for-profit and governmental clients. Areas of expertise include audits of homeowners’ associations and small business start-ups and dissolutions. Kevin provides QuickBooks installation, set-up, and consultation.
Kevin is an accomplished CPA and has recently published the article, ‘Understanding Private Operating Foundations’, in the Catalyst Center for Nonprofit Management’s newsletter.
Kevin is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In his free time he is an instructor at Kokoro Kai Martial Arts in Ambler, PA and currently holds a Rank of 1st Dan or Shodan, Isshinryu Karate.

Laura J. Taylor
Laura is active in the firm’s general practice. She works primarily with tax clients, providing tax, payroll, bookkeeping and QuickBooks support through the Entrepreneurial Business Services division. Prior to the merger with Bee, Bergvall & Co., Laura was with Burton & Browse for more than 14 years.
Laura is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor and provides consulting support to many of our clients. She also provides QuickBooks Tips on Bee Bergvall and Company’s social media pages.
Laura is a member of Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She is also a member of Lawndale Baptist Church since 2008 and a Deaconess at Lawndale Baptist Church. She assists with child care for Single Moms Ministry at Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia and is a member of Christian Business Women’s Connection.

Linda Bontempi, CPA
Linda began her accounting career as a taxation intern at Burton & Browse in 2012 while completing her accounting courses and studying for the CPA exam. She joined Bee Bergvall as a full time associate in 2014.
She works in the firm’s general practice area in all areas of tax, audit and accounting, but her primary focus is on individual and corporate taxation. In addition to taxation, she works on corporate and not-for-profit audits, reviews and financial statement preparation services. She also has experience with payroll tax preparation services.
Linda’s prior experience was as a Senior Design Engineer, designing military communications products and firmware at a military contracting company.
Linda is a part of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants. In her spare time she enjoys photography Linda is , and spent 12 years as a volunteer with a local ballet company, as company photographer, wardrobe staff and costume run crew, both in the dressing room and quick change area.

Marianne C. Lock, CPA, MST
Marianne joined Bee Bergvall & Company in 2007. She specializes in individual and business tax. Her responsibilities in the Tax Group involve reviewing tax returns, both federal and multi-state income tax returns, prepared by staff – corporate, partnership, individual, non-profit –to insure accuracy and compliance with federal/state regulations.
Marianne’s experience is vast and includes working as a Tax Accountant for a local real estate developer for 30-plus years and as an Accounting Supervisor for an investment firm for 5 years.
Marianne is a vital member of our community and has served as President/Treasurer of the Hearing Loss Association of America, Bucks County Chapter. This all-volunteer organization helps to educate the public on hearing loss issues. Marianne is also a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel.

Previously Trish worked as a Manager of Securitization Accounting and Investor Reporting for 6 years at Bank of America. She has 6 years of experience in Internal Audit working in both the non-profit and banking fields.

Randall Yardumian, EA
Randall Yardumian, is a Tax Supervisor in our Business and Individual practice. He has been with our firm since 2003. Randall has experience in finance emphasizing financial reporting, legal consolidation and consolidation systems. Although the bulk of his experience is in the private sector, Randall also has experience working with nonprofit organizations. Randall is an Enrolled Agent with the Internal Revenue Service.
Prior to joining our firm, Randall worked for 15 years in consolidations/systems for a major pharmaceutical company. In this role he was a liaison with international subsidiaries as well as the corporate tax department. He also worked as a controller for a local firm
